Florence Benson was the first Ghanaian art collector to voluntarily make her collection open to the general public. With calls for a national collection to be started by Nubuke Foundation several visitors had the rare opportunity to see works from A.O. Bartimeus and Nigerian artist Bruce Onobrakpeya. The exhibition was of collected works spanning a period over 40 years with early contemporary Ghanaian artists as well as young up and coming ones.
