The 67-page publication consists of essays, maps, directory and photographic documentation of all the artists and their works from the Festival Exhibition, Boda Boda Project and open studios in Kampala.
Bilingual Arabic/English | Year: 2003 | Responding to the claim that the events of September 11 were cinematic, the author offers another reading: Building on the relationship between cinema and the city, he suggests that these events are a cultural representation that oversteps the fictional and seductive world of film, implicating contemporary journalism, television, and literature as less connected to the imagination than to a chaotic, violent, and pornographic reality.
